Most men or women have some recognizable or unrecognizable six simple fears. Under those six fears can be listed the lesser fears. The six simple or main fears are here enumerated, and the resources from which they’re believed to have grown are described.

The six simple fears are:

Study the list, then take stock of your fears and verify beneath which of the six headings you could classify them.

Fear of Rejection: This mindset is motivated by fear of “not being good enough” Because you perceive yourself as not an expert in your field, look good or sound right to the standards you and others expected of you, you begin to limit yourself and give up even before you try because of what others may think or say of you. But the Lord has not given you a spirit of fear but of boldness, confidence, Love, and a sound mind.

Fear of Failure or Success: This fear holds us back from achievement beyond our comfort zone. I still battle the unseen obstacles and the “what if” it doesn’t work? “What if” it fails like the other one? “Why not give up now and enjoy your career instead of wasting time figuring it out.” “What will my friends think, say? What if I…

So I ask you, what is your “what if” reasoning subconsciously? How will you know if you don’t try? And even if you fail the 10^th time, who cares! You don’t give up until you succeed. I am not preaching what I don’t practice and have not experienced. That is why I am here encouraging you. Start by rejecting the lies and reverting every “what if fear” with the Word of God concerning your abilities to do and his plans for you.

Nourishing your soul refers to feeding your soul, feeding it with positive thinking, mindfulness, and intentional self-care.
